The Main House was built around
1836 and probably had four rooms. The original floors can be
found in the kitchen.
1930 - Norris and Sarah Richardson acquired the property.
They added a second story addition on the water side and the wing.
It was operated, at that time as a fishing Inn.
The Dining Room was sometimes open to the public. At one time it
was one of only two paying places in Mathews, Va. that had paying
guests.
1970 - Admiral Al Kelln
purchased Pine Hall. He enlarged the Kitchen where there had
once been a bath.
1991 - Harvey and Pat
Williams obtained the property. It was at this point that
the current landscaping, pool, walks and front landing were completed.
They converted an upstairs bedroom to a master bath and enlarged
the master bedroom. |
