A Rare Winter Snow





"Winter Harbor"    a  protected, sprawling inlet
off  Chesapeake Bay  between  Mobjack Bay and  Gwynns Island
is recorded on the  1708  H. Moll  Map of  Virginia

According to legend,
Winter Harbor  served as a safe harbor
for early sailing ships
