Virginia Stoughton has deep family roots in Lancaster County as her family, all the way back to her great grandparents, have lived here. Her mother, Frances, was born in White Stone and her father, Peter, and his family moved here from the Northern US. Virginia was born here but later she and the family moved to Richmond and then to Manassas, Virginia, where Virginia was raised. Even after her family’s move to Northern Virginia, they would still visit family in this area almost every weekend and, most importantly, this was their getaway from the city! Her parents eventually retired to White Stone, and because Virginia has such a deep love for the area, she moved back with her own family in 2006.

Virginia is mother to three active teenage boys, Zack, Reece, and Tyler Rhodes. Her interests include watching and cheering her kids on as they play in their various sport and musical endeavors. She also has a love for spending time near the water, a love for music (especially 70’s, 80’s and 90’s rock), and visiting with her sister, Linda, brother-in-law, and two nieces when they come for a getaway from Northern Virginia.


Virginia has an administrative background in Human Resources and was an office assistant at a highly regarded real estate appraisal company in Herndon, Virginia. During the Covid-19 crisis of 2020, she decided to change direction and pursue a career in real estate which she has always thought about doing. Virginia received her license in 2020 and used her experience of the area and her excitement of new ideas to spring into the real estate market of the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.
