Bernadette La Casse has lived on the Chesapeake Bay for the past 10 years and loves the unique charm and laid back pace of the region. She has had a life-long interest in architecture, and love of the uniqueness of houses and their many possibilities. She has been involved in real estate since 2014, and looks forward to helping you navigate your real estate needs.

Bernadette brings over 30 years’ experience in corporate operations – managing people, change and organizational development efforts with companies ranging from small non-profits to Fortune 500 companies. She has held strategic level positions with global manufacturing, financial services and pharmaceutical corporations, and has consulted to a global client base across industries. Her experience in corporate finance and management help facilitate these sometimes complex real estate transactions.

Bernadette holds a BS in Mathematics from Potsdam College and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and is a guest lecturer in the business programs at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She and her family live in Mathews, Virginia, on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay.


Alease Tillage has always had a passion for real estate and is ready to find your waterfront, vacation, or first home. She moved to Mathews County over 25 years ago, finding her forever hometown, and wants to help you find your forever home right here on the Middle Peninsula.

With over 30 years of experience in customer service, Alease has spent the last 16 years in public service in the education and human services fields. She has a passion for helping others and extends this service to all of her real estate clients, personally ensuring she finds the best home to fit your needs and walking you through the home buying process one step at a time.

Alease enjoys boating, fishing, and beach combing along the Chesapeake Bay. She also enjoys adding new finds to her ever increasing flower garden. She is familiar with the Middle Peninsula and has many insights into the unique offerings of each area of Mathews, Gloucester, and Middlesex. She currently lives in Mathews with her husband, children, and Golden Retriever, Haven.
