Bernadette La Casse has lived on the Chesapeake Bay for the past 10 years and loves the unique charm and laid back pace of the region. She has had a life-long interest in architecture, and love of the uniqueness of houses and their many possibilities. She has been involved in real estate since 2014, and looks forward to helping you navigate your real estate needs.

Bernadette brings over 30 years’ experience in corporate operations – managing people, change and organizational development efforts with companies ranging from small non-profits to Fortune 500 companies. She has held strategic level positions with global manufacturing, financial services and pharmaceutical corporations, and has consulted to a global client base across industries. Her experience in corporate finance and management help facilitate these sometimes complex real estate transactions.

Bernadette holds a BS in Mathematics from Potsdam College and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and is a guest lecturer in the business programs at Fairleigh Dickinson University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She and her family live in Mathews, Virginia, on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay.

 

Phyllis Dameron is a native of Northumberland County in the Northern Neck. She attended Madison College, which is now James Madison University. She has always been active in water sports, boating and is an avid golfer.

While in real estate in Richmond, she earned a GRI designation (Graduate of Realtors Institute) and CRS designation (Certified Residential Specialist). She was the past president of the Richmond Chapter of Women’s Council of Realtors and was also a member of the Richmond Board of Realtors. She was a permanent group leader for two Dale Carnegie Real Estate Courses.

Phyllis and her family moved to Mathews in 1976 where she joined IsaBell K. Horsley Real Estate  and was appointed Managing Broker for Mathews branch office when it opened in 1978. Her husband joined the firm in 1979 and they often worked together.

Phyllis has in past served the CBRAR, (formerly GMM Board of Realtors) as Vice President, Director, Chairman of various committees such as Grievance, Make America Better, RPAC, Nominating, etc. She also served on state committees for RPAC, MLS and Nominating.

Phyllis is an active church member. She is also the past president, treasurer and secretary of Mathews Women’s Aglow. Phyllis has two children and resides in Mathews. She has always loved real estate, serving others, and helping clients find the ‘perfect property’.
