David, a native of Richmond, Virginia, came from a banking world before he moved into real estate full time. David is a graduate of Douglas S. Freeman High School and Randolph-Macon College. He received his real estate license straight out of college in 2001 and went into the mortgage banking business. He was married in 2003 to Katie Horsley, granddaugher of IsaBell, and they decided to move to the Northern Neck. There David worked with the Bank of Lancaster as a loan originator and then as a branch manager. David showed great leadership skills along with his loan knowledge. David became a full time real estate agent in 2006, and he and his wife work as a team. He received his brokers license in 2008.
David still shows great leadership skills as he helps manage the Horsley firm and is the managing broker for Horsley’s White Stone branch office. He is dedicated to promoting the Horsley team and being resourceful to the agents at Horsley. David also has been involved in many organizations and boards throughout the years, from the Rotary Club, White Stone Business Association, Northern Neck Association of Realtors, Bank of Lancaster Board and many others.
Hunter Sledd is a Richmond native with extensive experience in sales and marketing over a 40+ year career. He attended Baylor University and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Hunter entered residential real estate in 1985 and joined IsaBell K. Horsley Real Estate, Ltd. after relocating to the Northern Neck in 2007. He holds CRS and GRI designations and has been a multi-million dollar producer over his career.
Hunter has a particular interest in waterfront property and is a founding member of the Northern Neck Master Gardeners Shoreline Evaluation Program. In that capacity he evaluates shoreline issues for homeowners and makes research-based recommendations to help control erosion. He is a member of both the Northern Neck and Chesapeake Bay and Rivers Associations of Realtors.
