Phyllis Dameron is a native of Northumberland County in the Northern Neck. She attended Madison College (now James Madison University). She has always been active in water sports, boating, and is an avid golfer.
While in real estate in Richmond, she earned a GRI designation (Graduate of Realtors Institute) and CRS designation (Certified Residential Specialist). She was the past president of the Richmond Chapter of Women’s Council of Realtors and was also a member of the Richmond Board of Realtors. She was a permanent group leader for two Dale Carnegie Real Estate Courses. Phyllis and her family moved to Mathews in 1976 where she joined IsaBell K. Horsley Real Estate and was appointed managing broker for Mathews branch office when it opened in 1978. Her husband joined the firm in 1979 and they often worked together.
Phyllis has in past served the CBRAR as Vice President, Director, Chairman of various committees such as Grievance, Make America Better, RPAC, Nominating, etc. She also served on state committees for RPAC, MLS and Nominating.
Phyllis is an active church member. She is also the past president, treasurer and secretary of Mathews Women’s Aglow. Phyllis has two children and resides in Mathews. She has always loved real estate, serving others, and helping clients find the ‘perfect property’.
