Wonderful private 1.5 acre point at the end of a cul-de-sac in a waterfront neighborhood just outside Kilmarnock, Irvington & White Stone. The Corrotoman River is a very deep and protected river perfect for all boat types. Great protection and easy access to the Rappahannock River, only moments away from the open Chesapeake Bay. Enjoy the beautiful wide river views from a large screen porch, brick patio and almost every room. This is a well-built brick home with a formal living room, formal dining room, nice sized kitchen with a breakfast area, and large family room with a wood burning fireplace. Spacious master bedroom with lovely bath and large cedar lined closet. There are two nice sized guest rooms and two additional baths. The current owners converted the former attached garage into a game room with wet bar, and also added a small breezeway to a new detached two-car garage with a bonus room and full bath above. Special features include a large wall of windows, hardwood floors, moldings, and wood paneling. When Rio Vista Subdivision was being developed back in the 1960’s, the developer took his wife to see the 60+ acre property and this is the lot they picked to build their dream home. This home is well loved and maintained . . . you will love it too!
