Greenfield on Dymer Creek is located on 2.8 acres, has over 500′ waterfront and a 4-6′ MLW pier.  A true historic treasure, the circa 1857 home has been totally restored, keeping the lovely architectural details intact.  The main house offers four bedrooms, three full baths and a half bath, while the detached garage has a half bath on the first floor plus guest quarters with a bedroom and full bath upstairs.  The garage also has a potting shed and wine cellar.  Recent improvements include exterior paint on the house and garage, new balcony railings, new HVAC and water heater, chimney restoration, new gutters, gas logs added to all three fireplaces, new garage roof, and much more.  Just a 10 minute boat ride to the Chesapeake Bay and a short drive to Kilmarnock and Irvington, Greenfield is the perfect place to come and make memories with family and friends!

This home is minutes away from the tri-towns of Kilmarnock, White Stone, & Irvington.  Visit Virginia’s River Realm to learn more about our waterfront areas and see events around towns.  You may also visit the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce to see news and events for the area.

Norris bridge as the gateway to the lower Northern Neck.

There are many beautiful waterways in Lancaster County off the Chesapeake Bay, including Fleets Bay, the Rappahannock River and the Eastern and Western branches of the Corrotoman River.  You will find deep anchorage with protected water and wide views on Indian Creek, Dymer Creek, Tabbs Creek, Antipoison Creek, Carters Creek, and many more.

The area is known for its shops, local seafood, restaurants, and plenty of activities for daytime and evening.  Lancaster has a rich history, and its well-known residents included Mary Ball Washington, mother of George Washington.  Great location, 1+hours to Richmond/Williamsburg/Newport News and 2+ hours to VA Beach/Northern Virginia/Charlottesville.
