When ready to list your home the first step is having a Horsley agent come meet you at your property. The first meeting is very important in taking a look at your home. We will want to know any recent improvements. We will want to know mechanical questions of HVAC units, crawl space information, etc., as well as what we can see of the interior and exterior of your home. The more knowledge we can gather on your home, the better we can determine your value. A Horsley agent will then go back to do a CMA, current market analysis. We will compare your homes to homes that have recently sold within the last 12-months. We will look over the active competition. We know our local market and can give you a price range from testing the market to being aggressive with the sale of your property. Once you and your Horsley realtor have determined a price, your Horsley agent will get all paper work, disclosures, etc. sent over and we start the work of marketing your home.

Depending on your home, your Horsley agent might have suggestions on staging or a few repairs to make sure marketable. Then pictures will be taken, write up, room measurements will be taken, all in preparing your home for the MLS system. It will go onto this Horsley website, with 5,000+ hits a month and be syndicated online to providers such as Zillow, Realtor dot com, Trulia, and others. Print ads will be done in the proper local newspaper as well as appropriate other print locations that you and your agent will discuss. Your Horsley Realtor is always here to keep you updated, inform on showings, give feedback from showings, and do there best to keep you up to date on how the sale of your home is going.
